In the same year, she was named Breakthrough Artist at the BRIT Awards and also received two Grammy nominations and an Ivor Novello Award. The media often refer to her as "the voice of her generation." On her second album, My Soft Machine, she collaborated with Phoebe Bridgers, among others, and continued to tour extensively around the world. In 2025, she became the youngest UNICEF ambassador in history and continues to be involved in humanitarian work. The year 2026 brings the release of her long-awaited third album, Ambiguous Desire. The album draws inspiration from the queer hedonism of the legendary New York club Paradise Garage, British nighttime electronica associated with names like The Streets and Burial, the glittering synthesizer moments of LCD Soundsystem, and the house grooves of producer Theo Parrish. The result is a confident and more experimental recording that captures Arlo Parks in her most daring form yet. The album is a soundtrack to open self-expression and another powerful chapter in the career of one of the most distinctive personalities on the contemporary music scene.
