German pianist George Graewe started his professional career aged barely 15. He has since become one of the leading present-day instrumentalists. Cellist Ernst Reijseger is yet another master from the European scene, who is active in a motley variety of projects. Gerry Hemingway has been on the barricades of improvised music for over two decades. At seventeen, he was working as a professional musician, mainly in jazz/bebop bands at the time. Later on, he worked with the likes of Evan Parker, Cecil Taylor, Kenny Wheeler, John Cale and Marilyn Crispell.
